Deepti Misri is Associate Professor of Women and Gender Studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is the author of Beyond Partition: Gender, Violence and Representation in Postcolonial India; and co-editor of a special issue of Women’s Studies Quarterly on Protest (2018). She is also a founding member of Critical Kashmir Studies Collective.
