K. Srilata is a poet, fiction writer, translator and former professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Her first book of poems, Seablue Child, was published in 2000, followed by Arriving Shortly. Her debut novel Table for Four was long-listed for the Man Asian Literary Prize in 2009.
